1. What We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, practice name), voice recordings submitted to Betty Notes, call logs and insurance interaction data from Betty Auth, and usage data to improve our services.

2. How We Use Your Data

Voice recordings are processed solely to generate clinical notes and are not used to train AI models without your explicit consent. Insurance call data is used only to execute and track the prior authorization requests you initiate.

3. PHI & HIPAA

Protected health information (PHI) is encrypted at rest and in transit. We do not sell, share, or disclose PHI to third parties except as required to deliver the service or as permitted by law. A signed BAA governs all PHI handling.

4. Data Retention

Clinical notes are retained for as long as your account is active, plus 7 years as required by healthcare regulations. You may request deletion of non-PHI account data at any time. PHI deletion requests are subject to applicable legal retention requirements.

5. Third Parties

We use subprocessors (cloud infrastructure, AI providers) who are contractually bound to maintain equivalent data protection standards. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to data brokers.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@saybetty.com. We will respond within 30 days.
